AppFresh Daily – The Very Best Apps From The Last 24 Hours
October 3, 2010
Boom! Today, another thousand new apps arrived in the App Store. Let me break it to you, most of them are really bad. Yet, there are a few interesting ones. Here they are:
Calculator for the iPad is just like the iPhone's native calculator, but for the iPad. It also switches between simple and scientific modes depending on orientation.
Best of all, it's free.
iMExchange 2 (Universal) allows you to sync your Outlook "notes, tasks, or out-of-office status" over Exchange. "Add a task on your device, sync and watch as it pops up in Outlook within seconds. Better still - iMExchange connects directly to your Exchange server, no other software is required. Initial sync functionality is free for a trial number of syncs. Purchase the continual sync upgrade to continue syncing indefinitely."
It's free.
Continental Airlines (iPhone) is the official app of Continental Airlines. "With features from Flight Booking to Flight Status, the Continental App will quickly become your indispensible travel companion."
It's free.
Gallery HD (iPad) by Kodak, allows you to "share and relive your most precious photo memories using the Gallery HD iPad app from the KODAK Gallery!"
It's free.
WiDict (iPhone) lets you "find translations for many words, mostly proper names, that aren't in the normal dictionaries."
It goes for $.99.
That's it for today. Did we miss anything? Tell us in the comments!
