Apple Tells Us Exactly Where FaceTime Is Not Available

October 9, 2010
Apple's video calling service, FaceTime, isn't available everywhere. As the iPhone 4 continues to launch across the world, more and more countries are disallowing this great feature. If you've been wondering exactly where FaceTime isn't allowed, then worry no longer: Apple has recently outlined this for all of us. As 9to5Mac reports, this support document (screenshot below) highlights countries which do not allow FaceTime with a footnoted "4."

Interestingly enough, Apple is labeling carriers as the reason why FaceTime isn't available worldwide. As you can see above, "FaceTime is not available on this carrier" can easily be seen beside the footnote. The five countries which do not support FaceTime are Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. If you live in one of these five countries, let us know how you feel about the lack of FaceTime support in the comments below!
