AT&T myWireless Mobile Gains A-List Management, Expanded Wi-Fi Section, And More

It seems AT&T has finally provided a number of features users have been pleading for. AT&T myWireless Mobile v1.5 adds alpha-numeric entry support for wireless numbers, AutoPay integration, "A-List" management, a support section with a number of FAQs, and a highly revamped Wi-Fi section.
While this newest version contains a tweaked login screen, the ability to edit your AutoPay settings and financial account associations, a support section with a a couple dozen questions covering common questions on billing, payments, and features and usage, most users will probably appreciate the new A-List management and vastly expanded Wi-Fi sections the most.
A-List is a free feature for an individual with a 900 or more minute Nation plan or those who have a FamilyTalk plan of 1,400 or more minutes. Calling numbers on your "A-List" from a device on your qualifying account won't count against your regular, Rollover, or night and weekend minutes. Individuals can have up to 5 numbers, while families share up to a 10 number A-List. AT&T myWireless Mobile v1.5 now allows you to add or delete numbers in your A-List easily from your iPhone.
For those who missed it, the auto-detection of your location when searching for Wi-Fi networks in AT&T myWireless Mobile v1.4 was indeed fixed with a maintenance update prior to today's version.
In addition to the location services fix, the Wi-Fi section has been completely revised. Along with the AT&T Wi-Fi Locator, you have access to AT&T's wireless community forum, information on connecting to a home or office wireless network, how to connect to AT&T's Wi-Fi hotspots, and specific Wi-Fi instructions for a handful of popular AT&T sold smartphones. The brief smartphone video tutorials cover the BlackBerry Bold 9700, Motorola Backflip, Samsung Jack, and our beloved iPhone.
Seeing as I'm not an A-List customer, I don't have a lot of use for most of the new features, but they do seem to cover at least a few areas customers have felt to have been neglected. Go grab the latest update, or finally decide to make a place for this utility somewhere on your iPhone, now from the App Store at no charge.
