AppAdvice has teamed up with Kory Fluckiger in order to offer you a chance to win one of ten (10) promo codes for FreeSong for iPhone and iPod touch ($.99).
FreeSong allows you to create unique audio compilations using tranquil tones and sounds. The primary user interface contains 11 different rocks laid out in tidy rows and columns, plus a music note in the bottom-right. Tapping a rock emits a tone, with each rock emitting their own unique sound. The UI supports multitouch, giving you the opportunity to create different intensities and mixtures of tones.
Tapping on the music note icon displays some additional audio options. Options include nine continuous background sounds and tone looping controls. When an item is active, it will have a glow to it. You can enable any number of background sounds to be used simultaneously. The slider control next to each lets you control the volume. When you enable the "Loop Tones" setting, it makes the rock tones endlessly repeat. Disabling the setting doesn't stop the playback, it just allows any future tone additions to not be repeated. To fully stop the tone playback, tap the "Clear Loops" setting button.
FreeSong for iPhone and iPod touch is compatible with iOS 3.0 or later, however, iDevices running iOS 4.0 or later get the added advantage of seamless and quick resuming when switching apps.
