Google Instant Hits The iPad?

A while back, Google Instant launched on our Macs and PCs, and the new feature made searching the web a whole lot easier. Have you ever thought how much energy it takes to hit the Return button on your keyboard? Now, the results just bounce out in front of you before you've even finished typing the keyword.
However, if there was ever a device for which Google Instant was designed, I'm willing to say it's Apple's iPad. Virtual keyboards are great, and touchscreen devices do make fanboys look more like crew members of the Starship Enterprise; however, they're not always convenient. It's more than easy to make a mistake when typing out words on a virtual keyboard, especially if your fingers are chunky.
Today, we've noticed that Google Instant is working on our 9.7" touchscreen tablets, which is great! Google did say, way back when Instant was launched, that it planned to extend the service to mobile devices. iPhones are still stuck with the same old boring search, but iPads are now blessed with Google Instant, which works like a charm.
So, if you're an iPad owner, reach for your device and check Google Instant out now!
