iOS Devices Are This Year's Most Wanted Christmas Gifts

According to a recent article by UK newspaper, The Telegraph, British kids are bored with toys. This year, they want iOS devices.
As many as 39% of children in the UK want an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch for Christmas this year. The iPhone 4 ranked at number one, followed by the iPod touch, and the iPad. The report cited by the article quizzed a total of 2,138 children. And, interestingly enough, more than three out of every five parents admitted that they purposely buy their kids gifts which will keep them quiet throughout the holidays.
With an App Store bursting at the seams with great iOS applications, an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch can sure keep a child quiet, as long as they don't break the expensive device. And, don't forget: every app has its price. It looks like this holiday season could be an expensive one for UK parents, provided their kids are on Santa's "nice" list.
