Jailbreak Only: FaceTime Now Available In The Middle East

Thanks to the jailbreak community, it is now possible for all iPhone owners to participate in FaceTime calls, even if their carrier doesn't allow it. Two separate patches are currently available, both of which have the ability to activate FaceTime on your iPhone handset.
As techania reports, one patch is more stable than the other. So, if you're planning on "hacktivating" FaceTime on your iPhone, be sure to use the method posted below.
First, jailbreak your iPhone 4. You can use greenpois0n, limera1n, or PwnageTool. All three will do the job perfectly, however if you're looking to unlock your iPhone 4 handset using ultrasn0w, be sure to use PwnageTool, as it preserves your handset's baseband.
Next, on your jailbroken iPhone, head over to Cydia > Manage > Sources. Add the following source: http://apps.iphoneislam.com. Once you've added this source, search for FaceTime Hacktivator and install it on your handset.
Once your iPhone has installed FaceTime Hacktivator, reboot your handset. Then, head over to Settings > Phone, and activate FaceTime. You'll be sent an activation SMS message, so make sure you have enough credit for an international text.
If everything worked correctly, you'll now be able to use FaceTime in your unsupported country! Remember, you jailbreak at your own risk. Let us know how this fix works for you in the comments below. Thanks to MacStories for spotting this!
