According to MSBC, American film legend Tony Curtis was recently buried "with a melange of his favorite possessions." Included in this selection was an Armani scarf, Curtis's favorite novel, and an Apple iPhone.

As 9to5Mac notes, this does signal the growing dependence we all have on mobile phones. Especially smartphones, which we use for so much more than than just making calls. For many, the phones are impossible to live without. Interestingly enough, Curtis wasn't prepared to enter the afterlife without his trusty iPhone by his side.
