WordsWorth Now Has Game Center Support For Single Player Mode

October 21, 2010
The addictive word game WordsWorth, by 99Games, received a recent update to bring Game Center satisfaction to the single player mode, profile avatar editing, and some convenience tweaks. The biggest addition for WordsWorth v2.5 is bringing, those always fun to strive for, Game Center achievements and a leaderboard for each of the three single player mode game-types: Classic, Timed, and Tumble. There are 20 achievements with a total of 1,000 points to gain. As a nice gesture to help you obtain that high score, 99Games has provided a very easy method to view what it will take to create special tiles. Special tiles provide you with bonus points. You can view these stats, along with your submitted word list, by tapping on the Level 1, Level 2, etc indicator at the top of the gameplay screen. For those that have 99Games accounts, for multiplayer action, can now change their profile avatar. That's right, you're no longer stuck with whatever image you chose when creating your account. As a final tweak to keep things tidier, multiplayer games will be automatically deleted from the list if a move has not been made within one week. WordsWorth is available in the App Store for $.99, with in-app purchases for Tumble, Dutch support, and French support available at an additional $.99 each. Game Center features require iOS 4.1 or later on a compatible iDevice.
