Check Out Yahoo's Recently Launched iPad-Optimized Homepage

Yahoo! has recently launched a new iPad-optimized homepage, and it isn't half bad. Simply head over to yahoo.com/tablet on your iPad to check it out.
Way back in August, Yahoo! launched an HTML5 version of Yahoo! Mail, which works like a dream on Apple's 9.7" touchscreen device. A little later, we heard that Yahoo! was planning on optimizing its homepage for the iPad. Now, the HTML5, iPad-optimized version of Yahoo's homepage is live, and as MacStories notes, it runs like a dream.
As you can see from the above screenshot, Yahoo! on your iPad displays Yahoo's various sites in a sidebar, to the left of the screen. To the right of this are six of Yahoo's featured articles, which you can easily navigate between by swiping whatever picture is displayed. And, below those images, are a variety of other popular Yahoo! articles, including Business, Technology, and Most Viewed sections for readers to peruse.
All in all, Yahoo's iPad-optimized homepage is a treat, and is most definitely worth checking out. I only wish more sites would follow suit. So, what are you waiting for? Head over to yahoo.com/tablet on your iPad now, and be sure to post your thoughts in the comments below!
