Evernote has recently pushed out version 3.4. The latest update is iOS 4.2 ready. Evernote is a service for syncing notes between all of your electronic devices. The service is available in both a free and paid version.
The latest version now lets you record audio for up to 90 minutes! The app is now a great way to record lectures and meetings. The recording runs in the background. The update also adds the ability to listen to that recording in the background as well. You can also now open and store audio in Evernote from other apps.
The update lets users open PDFs in Evernote. The app does not do a roundtrip perfectly. If you open a PDF from Evernote into another app and bring the file back into Evernote it sort of works. The app will create a brand new note with the PDF, but the original note will still be there. The “open in” command works with photos and audio too.
Printer support has also been added. Now you can print any note. You can print viewable attachments from the full screen mode too. The printer support is very well integrated into the app.
The update fixes many bugs and allows for multiple photos to be included in notes. The app is available for free for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad in the App Store. More information can be found at www.evernote.com.
