Gorillaz' Upcoming Album Has Been Recorded Entirely On An iPad?

November 13, 2010
Damon Albarn, Blur frontman and Gorillaz mastermind, has recently stated that Gorillaz' next album has already been recorded; entirely on Albarn's iPad:
I’ve made it on an iPad – I hope I’ll be making the first record on an iPad. I fell in love with my iPad as soon as I got it, so I’ve made a completely different kind of record.
In an interview with UK music magazine, NME, Albarn noted that he's hoping to have the band's follow-up album to Plastic Beach in stores for Christmas. It's just as well Albarn didn't want to record Gorillaz' third studio album on a white iPhone 4. However, Albarn's logic is quite sound. NME notes that Albarn has been recording the album "while on tour." And, after all, the iPad is the ultimate portable computer. This is all very interesting, but over here at AppAdvice we're desperate to know: Damon, which app did you use? If you think you might know the answer, post your guess in the comments below! And, thanks to MacRumors for spotting this.
