Could iOS 4.3 Be Delayed Until 2011?

November 29, 2010
According to a recent post by Cult of Mac, Apple's iOS 4.3 software update has been delayed until 2011. Last week, we heard that Apple's next software update would be available in December. Furthermore, it had been noted by MacStories that iOS 4.3 would bring "app subscriptions" in time for the launch of the Daily - a tablet only newspaper, created by Apple and News Corp. However, Cult of Mac's sources have noted that "the actual rollout [of iOS 4.3] has been delayed until early 2011." And, when you consider that iOS 4.2.1 was only released last week, a 2011 release for iOS 4.3 makes a lot of sense. Obviously, this is just a rumor about a rumor. As of this moment, nobody knows for certain exactly when iOS 4.3 is scheduled to be released. And, even if we did, Apple could easily postpone the software update's release. After all, it has been done before. Let us know your thoughts on iOS 4.3 in the comments below.
