November 30, 2010
Apple's "magical and revolutionary" iPad is now available in Taiwan, where it is currently retailing for NT $16,500. Furthermore, Apple also released the iPad in South Korea today - the home country of Samsung, who launched the iPad-competing Galaxy Tab recently. As 9to5Mac reports, the iPad is currently not available in Taiwan's Apple Online Store, though it's available to purchase from Apple-certified retailers. Additionally, Apple plans to release the iPad is a variety of European countries tomorrow, when Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland will be able to purchase the 9.7" HD iDevice. The iPad is also scheduled to hit Portugal, Hungary, Poland and the Czech Republic tomorrow, too. If you live in one of these countries, and are planning on getting an iPad as soon as they become available, be sure to let us know in the comments below. Alternatively, you can email us photos of your iPad-purchasing experiences. Good luck!
