iPhone Apps Gone Free: FaceMan, Bowloon, Monster Munch, And More

Today's AGF list lacks iPad apps, but we have an iPhone app that applies photo effects in real-time, a 3D balloon shooting game, an action game that features little Vamp Helsing, and more. Disclaimer: All prices are subject to change at any time and without notice regardless of stated free duration. iPhone: Bowloon ($.99 -> Free): A 3D action game where you must run around three different worlds, firing arrows at all of the balloons to rack up the most points.  The game features a variety of arrows to obtain and use, tilt or touch controls, first- or third-person views, and OpenFeint integration. Bowloon is available for free today only (11/18). It has a three-star rating and a total of nine ratings. Monster Munch ($.99 -> Free): You are little Vamp Helsing, and you must eat as many pumpkins as you can to achieve the highest score by tilting your device side to side.  The game features Twitter and Facebook integration, difficulty progression, and Game Center integration. Monster Munch is available for free for a limited time. It has a four-and-a-half-star rating and a total of seven ratings. Iced In ($.99 -> Free): The goal of the game is to free the penguin from its cage by pushing buttons.  Buttons can only be pushed down with ice blocks.  You are able to push the ice blocks on top of the buttons by tapping and dragging your character, but the blocks, as with all Blocked In-style games, won’t stop moving until they run into something.  The game features 50 levels and the ability to quickly restart when you are stuck. Iced In is available for free today only (11/18). It has a three-star rating and a total of 41 ratings. Balkan Folk Instruments ($.99 -> Free): A musical app that includes three Greek and Balkan folk instruments: the Gaida, Doumbek, and Pontian Flogera.  The recordings for each of the instruments were done live by professional folk musicians. Balkan Folk Instruments is available for free for a limited time. It has a five-star rating and a total of five ratings. FaceMan ($.99 -> Free): Applies effects to your camera feed in real-time.  Effects include: Swirl, X-Ray, Stretch, Heat, Sketch, Sepia, Dent, Led, Emboss, LightTunnel, Bulge, Squeeze, BrokenTv, Mirror, Toon, BlackAndWhite, AsciiArt, ModernArt, 100Me, and NightVision.  Photos can be shared on Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr, or via email. FaceMan is available for free for a limited time. It has a four-and-a-half-star rating and a total of 17 ratings. Developers: If you are a developer who would like to get your app included in our “Apps Gone Free” daily lists, here’s our basic set of rules:

• The app must be free for at least one whole day.
• It must have at least a three-star average rating at the time it goes free.
• The app must not have been free numerous times (3+) over the last six months.
