Jailbreak Only: Parallax - Panoramic Wallpapers For Your iDevice
by Joe White

Parallax is a new jailbreak tweak which allows iDevice users to set a panoramic wallpaper as their background. It's currently priced at $1.49, and is available now via the BigBoss repository.
As you can see from the below video, Parallax works well, though installation on iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G devices isn't recommended. Apparently, the tweak uses a fair bit of memory, meaning such users might experience problems if they install the tweak.
In order to set a panoramic wallpaper, simply install Parallax, then upload a wallpaper your iPhone would normally have to "cut" down. In the Settings app, under "Parallax," select auto scroll speed, and presto: your panoramic wallpaper should work like a charm!
So, if you're a jailbroken iPhone 3GS, 4, or iPod touch 3G or 4G user, be sure to take a look at Parallax in Cydia now! And, if you have an opinion on this new tweak, feel free to post it in the comments below.
