The Spirits Of The Evil Dead Will Soon Invade Your iDevice

Halloween is over but that doesn't mean the horror buffs need to wait an entire year to get more of the scary stuff. We've been informed of an upcoming iOS game reflecting the 1981 cult-classic The Evil Dead. There's not much information for the game but a teaser trailer. The game teaser resembles the film's trailer very closely, including the original audio, or so it seems. The Evil Dead is the story of five college students from Michigan State University. The group of friends travel to the an isolated cabin in the Tennessee mountains for a vacation. After playing an unknown audio recording, readings from The Book of the Dead, one-by-one they become possessed by the evil spirits of the Candarian demons. Their getaway weekend soon turns into a gruesome battle of "bodily dismemberment" for survival. This horror flick was directed by Sam Raimi, which also directed the film's sequels, the Spider Man films, and the recent Drag Me to Hell. Bruce Campbell, known for his recent work as Sam Axe in the television series Burn Notice, co-stars as Ashley 'Ash' Williams. On a similar note, Drag Me to Hell co-stars Justin Long (the "I'm a Mac" guy). What are your thoughts on this, especially for those who are fans of the film.
