Keep Track Of Midterm Election Results On Your iPad

November 2, 2010
The New York Times' Election Results page not only looks great on your browser; it also works like a dream on your Apple iPad, too. According to The Times:
Our entire election results site has also been made touch-friendly for use on the iPad. On the Senate and governors maps, you’ll be able to pinch to zoom in to results at the county level, and the House maps will let you zoom in to see winners and gainers at the district level. It’s like having a television’s touch screen in your lap.
You can check out the interactive map here. If you're following the election results, it's probably worth bookmarking the page, or even saving it to your iPad's Home screen. Alternative options include ABC News for iPad, which is free and features a live TV stream of the election night news, as Cult of Mac notes. However, with The New York Times' Election Results page, iPad users can check out the results by simply launching Safari. Check it out now, and let us know what you think of the page in the comments below.
