AT&T has put together a portal specifically catering to iPad 3G owners, where users can add, remove, change, and view statistics for those looking to have cellular data access. Up until recently, iPad users managed an AT&T account for their cellular equipped iOS-tablets by tapping their way to the Cellular Data section of the Settings app.

While that is still an option, users can now make changes via any web browser, including an iPhone or iPod touch, by visiting http://www.att.com/ipad and clicking on the green Add Data Now button or this URL. This may not seem overly important, but choice is nearly always good. You can now cancel your data plan if you lose or have your precious iPad stolen, and without the need to contact AT&T or visit a store -- even though data usage would likely be the last thing on your mind at that point.
