Chalk is a great, free webapp for your iPad that works like a charm. Simply head over to chalk.37signals.com on your iPad, and presto: you've got an interactive chalkboard to play around with. This clever webapp is the brainchild of 37signals. They already have a similar iOS application in the App Store called Draft. However, while Draft comes with a pretty heavy price tag ($9.99), the Chalk web app, though basic, is free. With Chalk, users have the choice of writing with a white or red piece of chalk. There's also an eraser, and the option of saving your masterwork to your iPad's photo library. Alternatively, a screenshot will produce an image such as the one shown above. Essentially, Chalk is a great webapp any iPad owner should definitely check out. And, while you're there, be sure to bookmark it, or even save the page to your iPad's Home screen. You can take a look at 37signal's great webapp by heading over to chalk.37signals.com (using mobile Safari on your iPad). Be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments below. And, thanks to MacStories for spotting this!
