Google has recently updated "Google Docs," which now works like a charm on the iPad. Any iPad user can access, view, and edit Google Docs documents on the go, which is great news.
Back in November, Google announced an update for its Google Docs service would be coming soon:
With Google Docs, we’re always trying to make you more productive—and part of that means making it possible for you to get things done from anywhere, at anytime. That’s why we’re excited that the new documents editor now supports editing on your mobile browser. We’re rolling this out over the next few days. Now, the update has been made, and Google Docs works like a charm on the iPad. If you often work with Google Docs, head over to the service on your iPad, and hit the "Desktop" icon towards the bottom of the document. An editor will open, allowing you to work with the document on your iPad. Personally, I'd sooner stick with iWork for iPad. However, if you don't want to pay for the suite, or if you'd rather just stick with Google Docs, you'll be pleased with this update. Of course, don't forget to let us know your thoughts in the comments below. [Image credit: CNET]
