Epic Games' Infinity Blade is scheduled to receive an update, possibly as soon as December 21. The coming update is said to bring new items to equip, and new enemies for users to cut through.
However, according to the guys over at Kotaku, the expected update will also allow players to purchase gold via an in-app purchase. As noted by Epic Games, in a press release:
Purchase Gold! Due to popular demand, we have added the ability to buy extra Gold via in-app purchase!Last week, we told you the next Infinity Blade update would bring “five new weapons, five new shields, five new helmets and a new armor set." This means the maximum level players will be able to reach, will be level 45. Additionally, Chair Entertainment also noted that future updates will bring even more to the game. As noted by Chair's Donald Mustard:
There will be new areas to go to, the story will be evolving a little more as you see what the God King is really up to, and we’re going to let people go down into the dungeons. For high-level players especially, you’ll start to find some enemies that make the [current] enemies look like nothing. At some point, Infinity Blade will also get an online multiplayer mode via Game Center. However, we're not sure exactly when this update will arrive. So, keep your eye on the App Store tomorrow for Infinity Blade's update. And, in the meantime, keep working on your character. Online multiplayer mode isn't that far away ...
