Looxcie LX1 Ear-Top Camera: Capture Every Moment, For $200

A new product called the Looxcie LX1 allows users to quite literally capture every moment. The camera, which sits behind your ear like a Bluetooth headset, constantly records everything its user sees.
The video recorded by the Looxcie is continuously "dumped," unless its user chooses to save recorded footage. You can do this following an event, which is really handy, via a Bluetooth-paired iPhone. This way, useless footage doesn't take up precious space on your device. Instead, users only save important footage. To do this, simply press a button on the Looxcie, and the last 30 seconds of video will be saved.
Obviously, this is handy, as there are times when you really need a camera - and, sometimes you only realize this once the moment has passed. With Looxcie, there is no danger of its users ever missing a special, unpredicted event ever again - as long as they wear the device 24-7.
While it would be handy to ensure you can capture Steve Jobs next time he's out in the neighborhood, I'm not sure wearing the Looxcie is my idea of a good time. Personally, I can't tolerate Bluetooth headsets - people who wear them remind me of the Borg. And, besides, can you imagine how people would react if you had a video camera behind your ear all day?
Currently, the Looxcie LX1 camera is available from Best Buy for $199.99. If you have an opinion on this product, let us know in the comments. And, thanks to Cult of Mac for spotting this.
