Notes Plus: A Great Handwriting, Note-Taking, Sound-Recording iPad App

December 6, 2010
Notes Plus, an interesting iPad application that was released last month, can certainly do a lot. Not only can iPad owners use the $4.99 application to effectively take notes, but Note Plus can also record voice memos too, in-app. Here's how the application's developer describes the app, taken from Notes Plus' release notes:
A powerful handwriting, note-taking tool with close-up writing for small text, stroke smoothening, keyboard text, shape auto-detecting, voice recording, palm handling, PDF exporting, emailing and Google Docs uploading.
You see, Notes Plus is more than just an iPad notepad. A variety of clever features sets this app aside from similar applications we might have seen in the past. Not only is Notes Plus an effective touchscreen jotter, but users can also use the virtual keyboard to type notes, too. Furthermore, with Notes Plus, it's easy to draw perfect shapes, and insert them right into your note. If you make a mistake, simply scribble it out, and Notes Plus will remove it from the document. If you want to take a closer look at what you're doodling or writing, pinch the screen to zoom in. And, pinch once more to zoom back out. As you can see in the demo video below, Notes Plus seems to be a pretty clever application. For $4.99, I think it's fair to say customers are getting their money's worth with this app. If you've bought Notes Plus, feel free to let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
