The sequel, Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance (N.O.V.A.) 2, to Gameloft's acclaimed first-person shooter will be hitting App Store virtual shelves on December 16th. Be rewarded with extra bonuses. My guess is the inclusion of vehicles and more than doubling the the capacity of some online multiplayer maps will be the biggest reason to grab the new game. The original and currently available Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance (N.O.V.A.) features Retina and true iPad enhanced graphics, gyroscope support, 13 levels, six weapons, five environments, five multiplayer maps, and Bluetooth (1-2 players) or online (1-4 players) multiplayer abilities. Retina display and gyroscope are extremely likely to transfer, amongst the obvious multiplayer options, seeing as these two features were a big deal when added. What about Game Center integration to go along with Gameloft LIVE? Will Gameloft offer a universal app instead of having iOS gamers fork out for two separate ones? There are still some surprises to be had, thankfully, it won't be long to wait until we know for certain.
