Viber: Free Phone Calls For iPhone - A Serious Skype Competitor?

Viber is a new iOS application that allows users to make free calls over Wi-Fi, and over a cellular data network.
Currently, Viber is avaialble for free in the App Store. Furthermore, the service is free to use, and as of this moment the app is not ad supported. Here's what the application's developer, Viber Media, says about the app:
Viber is an iPhone application that lets you make free phone calls to other iPhone users that have Viber installed. When you use Viber, your phone calls to any other Viber user are free, and the sound quality is much better than a regular call. You can call any Viber user, anywhere in the world, for free. All Viber features are 100% FREE and do not require any additional “in application” purchase.One great thing about Viber is that users don't need to create a username. Instead, the iOS app uses your phone number as a personal identifier, kind of like a BlackBerry PIN. Another clever iOS application which does this is WhatsApp Messenger, which you should also check out. I've tried out Viber, and I have to admit: the quality of voice calls when using this app is amazing. Even over 3G, calls are crystal clear, and don't drop.
