360 Web Browser Now Has Improved Background Multitasking, Media Player, And More

Digital Poke has pushed another big update to the App Store virtual shelves. 360 Web Browser has gained over a dozen improvements and additions in the latest version, including support for more background tasks, a media player, and enhanced file management.
360 Web Browser now offers background audio control and download completion, a built-in media player, a new Crash-Restore feature to bring back any pages you were viewing in the unfortunate scenario the app does unexpectedly quit, the ability to zip folders within the file manager, the opportunity to open files in external applications, plus the formerly in-app purchase Bling and Blush themes are now available as free downloads.
Additional 360 Web Browser v2.1 improvements include:
• Basic Authentication Support + Store Password
• Invalid Certificates Support + Store Exception
• Saved Pages can be Integrated with Bookmarks [ Off by Default ]
• Search Bar can now be cleared on Focus [ Off by Default ]
• Searches can be made automatically [ Off by Default ]
• Address Bar can now be cleared on Focus [ Off by Default ]
• URLs can be loaded automatically [ Off by Default ]
• Bookmarklet support to open page in 360 Browser from Safari
• OPTIMIZED Searching for improved Performance
• FIXED Issue that was effecting some users from accessing AJAX Sites
• FIXED Firefox Sync issue which occurred when user tried to import RSS bookmarks from Sync to 360 Bookmarks.
One of the few things left that users are likely hoping for is native iPad support through a universal app offering.
360 Web Browser is designed for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 3.0 or later, and available in the App Store for $.99.
