The iOS picture-sharing sensation Instagram got updated today, and in case you haven't noticed yet, it got an interesting new feature. The new update brings the ability to add hashtags to your pictures. If you are familiar with Twitter, you already know about them. You can now add tags to your pictures (you tag these by placing a # in front of them), in either the caption or the comments. You can select any tag in the feed and you'll be presented with a gallery of pictures that were tagged with the same keyword. It's very easy to use, and has a lot of potential, thanks to tons of other little additions like a search field in your profile tab. You can search RSS feeds for specific tags if you want to keep track of something you like. Make sure to give it a try and hashtag away. You can get Instagram for free on the App Store. Please tell us how much you love the latest update in the comments below.
