Jailbreak Only: VoiceActivator - System Wide Voice Commands, Coming Soon
by Joe White
January 30, 2011
The jailbreak mastermind, chpwn, has been working on an interesting new tweak. It's called VoiceActivator, and it's everything Apple's iOS Voice Control feature should be.
Apple's Voice Control allows users to play and pause music, make calls, and hear the time by simply speaking into their iPhone. However, VoiceActivator lets you do virtually anything. As you can see in the video below, users simply input voice commands into VoiceActivator's settings, and they're permanently saved.
With VoiceActivator, it's possible to launch applications, take screenshots, and open webpages quickly and easily. And, because it's developed by chpwn, you can expect it to be brilliant.
Hopefully, VoiceActivator will be available in the Cydia Store next week. We'll keep you posted. In the meantime, check out the video demo below, and let us know your thoughts in the comments.
