Layar Reality Browser Updated: Avoid If You're Running iOS 3.1.3 On iPhone 3GS

The popular augmented reality app, Layar Reality Browser, has recently been updated. While the new version brings some handy features, it reportedly crashes for iPhone 3GS owners running iOS 3.1.3. New features include:

• The Camera View interface has been redesigned
• The Camera View is stabilized using the gyroscope on iPhone 4.
• Layers now support new interactive features

However, since the update's release (yesterday), the app has received several one-star reviews in iTunes due to the bug. If you're running iOS 3.1.3 on an iPhone 3GS, avoid the update unless you're willing to upgrade to iOS 4.2.1.
