Macworld Magazine Announced Their Macworld Expo 2011 Best Of Show Winners
January 29, 2011
Earlier today, Macworld magazine announced their chosen Macworld Expo 2011 Best of Show winners. I'll give highlights to those that involve the iOS community, but check out the original Macworld magazine rundown for the full list of winners and details.
Macworld Expo is a great way to see products for the Mac and iOS devices. But of the thousands of products on display, a select few stand out. These products are recognized with our Best of Show awards.Software BusyMac's BusyToDo is a simple to-do task manager that synchronizes with iCal, the company's BusyCal Mac OS X client, and other iDevices running BusyToDo. Requires Mac OS X 10.6.4, a MobileMe membership (uses it for syncing), and an iDevice running iOS 4.1 or later. Web Information Solutions' Pocket Informant and Pocket Informant HD takes "getting things done" to a serious level. The app includes local Push alerts for events and tasks, event mapping, sub-tasks, templates, full iOS 4 multitasking support, full search, filters with tag support, and Google web app sync support. Hardware Ten One Design's Fling Game Controller is a portable suction cup attached joystick for your iPad. Use it with nearly any iOS game that includes a virtual joystick or directional-pad as a control option. Rain Design's iRest is an iPad stand designed for desk or lap use. The iRest features foam cushions for lap comfort and a torque hinge for preferred angle adjustment. Scosche's myTrek is a combination Bluetooth-equipped pulse monitoring wristband and iOS app to help you monitor your workout. The myTrek is expected to be available later this year. Zagg's ZaggMate is a combination iPad case, stand, and physical keyboard. Available with and without the Bluetooth wireless keyboard, either version can keep your iOS tablet's screen protected and provide a comfortable viewing angle for use. Were you able to attend the Macworld Expo this year? If so, what was one of your favorite iDevice-related products?
