AppAdvice has teamed up with Eon Four in order to offer you a chance to win one of five (5) promo codes for Deadbeat for iPhone and iPod touch ($.99).
Everyone has their regular group of friends to go out and eat with, play mini-golf with, go bowling with, and much more. Hopefully, you try to keep things fair, as far as who pays the tab each time. Honestly, each band of friends has the "nice guy" or "nice girl" who tends to be a pushover when it comes to the excuses of disrespectfully cheap pals. You need not carry the weight of those deadbeat friends any longer.
Deadbeat, the app, provides a logical way to single out those who haven't been pulling their financial weight. After selecting the individuals, by simply tapping on their name, involved in an activity, the app will identify who should be ponying up the dough with a pulsating ring around the dollar sign to the right of their name.
To log that person's payment for the case of beer and snacks, tickets to the movie, season passes for the ski lift, etc, just tap on the dollar sign next to their name, enter the amount paid, and tap the dollar sign again to confirm. Each person will have the total amount paid since you've added them to the app and how many payments they've contributed. You can shake your iDevice if you want to randomly choose the "it's your turn" guy or girl.
Setup for the app should be fairly quick, and should only need to be done once. Tap on the "+" sign in the bottom left to add contacts that you normally hang out with. Make sure to add yourself to the list, as that's only fair. It's not necessary to add all of your contacts, but mainly those you get together with frequently. You can modify the order and remove people using the edit list button it the bottom-center of the screen.
