The famous iPhone baseband unlocker, @sherif_hashim, recently confirmed that he has found an ultrasn0w exploit that is "working for both" the new basebands - 3.10.01 and 2.10.04.
In a tweet sent a couple of days ago (spotted by Redmond Pie), the iOS hacker explained to a fan that he has found a suitable exploit for the new version of ultrasn0w. When asked if the exploit will support baseband 03.10.01, Hashim answered: "the one I found is working for both."
Apple is expected to launch iOS 4.3 very soon, though the exact date is not known. Following this, Hashim's exploit will be tested against iOS 4.3's final code before being released to the general public. Even though iOS 4.3 has not been released yet, work has already begun on jailbreaking the upcoming software update.
