Don't Know The Song, But Remember The Lyrics? - MyLyrics Can Help!

February 26, 2011
MyLyrics is a very handy universal application, which allows users to search for song titles by inputting part of the song's lyrics. The application is currently available in a free, lite version, or a paid version ($1.99). We've all been there: You're listening to the radio without paying much attention, and hear a catchy song (let's say it's "California Gurls," by Katy Perry). Ten minutes later you're at the office doing some paperwork, and you sing quietly to yourself: "Daisy Dukes, bikini on top." It's a great line, but what's the name of the song? At this point, your problem can be solved by simply launching MyLyrics, and typing in the line. As you can see in the above image, a list of results is displayed by the app - in this case, MyLyrics got the right track. Once you've got a list of results, you can preview the track, or buy it from the iTunes Store app on your iOS device. You can try out MyLyrics for free by downloading the lite version. However, this version of the app features search limits and advertisements. The paid version, MyLyrics Plus, comes with neither, though it does cost $1.99. Check them out, and let us know your thoughts in the comments.
