UK Only: BBC iPlayer For iPad, Available To Download Now!

The official BBC iPlayer iPad application is now available to download from the UK App Store, for free. BBC iPlayer allows users to catch up on the past week's TV and radio, as well as tune in to live TV. This can all be done within the app, providing you're connected to a Wi-Fi network.
While it is only possible to watch TV and listen to radio when connected to a Wi-Fi network, users can browse content within the app over a 3G connection. This is handy, because BBC iPlayer features a built in TV guide, which shows the program schedule for all of the BBC's channels.
The quality of video viewed within the app is very impressive - you can tell the BBC has spent a lot of time perfecting the application. TV shows load quickly, and the app doesn't crash at all (for me, at least).

If you're a UK based Apple fan, you should definitely take a look at BBC iPlayer for iPad. It's currently available for free in the UK App Store. And, if you do, let us know your thoughts in the comments.
