New "AirPlay Enabled Apps" Section Appears In App Store

March 14, 2011
Apple has added a new section to the App Store, which contains AirPlay enabled iOS applications. In iOS 4.3, Apple allowed developers to create AirPlay enabled applications - apps that can stream both audio and video from an iDevice, to an AirPlay capable device (such as an Apple TV). Now, in this new section of the App Store, AirPlay fans can see exactly which apps utilize the recently added feature. Included in the selection are: Martha Stewart Makes Cookies ($4.99), ESPN the Magazine for iPad (free), and FitnessClass (free). You can check out the new section by clicking this link. And, if you've recently been playing around with AirPlay enabled third party apps, tell us about your experiences in the comments.
