Some Early Verizon iPad 2 Orders Still Haven't Arrived?

According to a recent report, several customers who ordered a Verizon iPad 2 on March 11 still haven't received the device. This is strange, considering many iPad 2 models started reaching Apple fans around March 17.
As noted by customers in this VZW.com thread, Verizon iPad 2 models were expected to ship either the next day, or within two to three days. However, some customers have yet to receive their Verizon iPad 2, several weeks after having ordered the device online.
It should be noted that not all Verizon iPad 2 owners have experienced delays. It should also be noted that CrunchGear claims orders for the Verizon iPad 2 were always meant to ship within two to three weeks:
However, our Verizon retail sources told us 2-3 weeks was always the shipping window, even the first day they were available. Apparently a couple of their orders — these are VZW retail store associates — reached the buyers just days after ordering, but those where exceptions.As of this moment, Verizon hasn't commented on the matter.
