Road Blaster HD Brings The Anime-Style Graphics Arcade Racer To The iPad

March 17, 2011
Revolutionary Concepts teamed up with G-mode, the recent rights holder of Road Blaster, to bring the adrenaline pumping, high-speed driving action to the iPhone and iPod touch back in January. Yesterday, Revolutionary Concepts delivered the iPad-optimized version to the App Store. The game has improved quality graphics, three difficulty modes, tilt or virtual in-car controls, and Game Center integration. Back in the mid-80s, Data East released an anime-style graphics arcade title that became a cult classic. Road Blaster is the story of a talented driver gone vigilante, seeking vengeance for the murder of his wife and destruction of his town. Immerse yourself in the excitement as you take your incredible sports car speeding through tight corridors, recklessly plowing through explosions, smashing through buildings, frantically avoiding taking out innocent citizens, and much more. Revolutionary Concepts has published such games as UFO on Tape, Banzai Rabbit HD, and Karate Champ XL. Just as a small note to those like me, this is obviously not Atari's rally racing title by the same name. Road Blaster HD is compatible with iPad running iOS 3.2 or later. Game Center features require iOS 4.2 or later. Grab your copy of Road Blaster HD in the App Store now for $3.99.
