TeleNav GPS is a new navigation application for the iPhone 4 and iPad 2 (Wi-Fi + 3G), that is currently available to try for free for 30 days. The application, which is developed by TeleNav, Inc., offers users more "personalized" and "reliable" navigation.
Perhaps the greatest thing about TeleNav GPS is its price: As mentioned, you can try out the app for free (for 30 days). After this, users have the option of subscribing to TeleNav's service on a monthly or yearly basis. A 30 day subscription will set you back $2.99, while a year's subscription costs just $21.99.
As listed by TeleNav in the application's release notes, key features of TeleNav GPS include:
The application boasts around 22 million local listings, with "ratings, reviews, and merchant info." Included in these listings are restaurants, shops, movie theatres, and Wi-Fi hotspots. TeleNav GPS also supports multitasking (under iOS 4), meaning users can jump out of the app and reply to SMS messages and emails, then return to the app where they left off. As mentioned, TeleNav GPS is currently available to download for free. Check it out, and let us know your thoughts in the comments.
