If you want to buy a second generation iPad from the Apple Online Store, it's going to take over a month to reach your door. Late last night, Apple noted that online orders for all iPad 2 models would take "four to five weeks" to ship.
Apple's second generation iPad launched in North America on March 11. Customers could buy the iPad 2 on that day from an Apple Retail Store or authorized reseller. Alternatively, customers could place an order via the Apple Online Store. However, in no time at all, the estimated shipping time for second generation iPads ordered online increased to "three to four weeks," leaving many Apple fans unhappy. And, it doesn't stop there.
Late last night, things changed again - over at the Apple Online Store, iPad 2 models are now shipping in "four to five weeks." All iPad 2 models currently show the same estimated shipping time.
