AppAdvice has once again teamed up with Blaugames in order to offer you a chance to win one of six (6) promo codes for Bluetouch Game for iPhone and iPod touch ($.99).
Entertainment or brain fitness, memory games are a great addition to nearly anyone's app collection. The Bluetouch Game can be as easy as squares and stars or a bit more challenging with simple images of ducks, rockets, turtles, and more. The three difficulty modes determine whether you deal with shapes or images, how many items you must remember, and how quickly the toughness increases per level.
Taking a quick overview of the user interface; the shapes or images to remember are in the top-left, amount of lives in the top-right, score is at the bottom, and the amount of shapes or images remaining until advancing to the next level is to the right of the score counter.
When gameplay begins, a shape or image will be added to the upper-left bin. Each shape or image will have a symbol in the bottom-right: left arrow, right arrow, up arrow, down arrow, or hollow circle. These symbols indicate how the object is dealt with. For example, if a square -- in the top-left bin -- has a hollow circle on it, you need to tap any squares that drift into the gameplay area. If a triangle has a right arrow on it, you must swipe left to right on any triangles that appear in the play area. Take the wrong action or touch the wrong shape or image and one life will be taken away.
When playing on Easy, all images will require the same action, however, later levels will begin to diversify what needs to take place. As you progress, there will be bonus objects that randomly make their way amongst the shapes and images; where tapping on these power-ups will activate them. A yellow circle will add a life and a reticle looking square will help indicate which shapes or images you should tap.
Bluetouch Game features Easy, Medium, and Hard difficulty modes, hundreds of levels, Retina display support, iOS 4 multitasking support, and a local scoreboard. Bluetouch Game is designed for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 3.2 or later.
