Are you still not comfortable with the 'soft' keyboard of the iPhone and iPod touch? Perhaps, you're one of those who find it to be somewhat cramped. Easy Typing is an app that helps those with large fingers type a bit easier than the default iOS keyboard.
Easy Typing is a QWERTY keyboard that has more commonly used letters -- such as A, S, E, T, and N -- nearly quadruple the size of Apple's own implementation, and rarely used letters -- such as Q, Z, and X -- only about double the size. As an added convenience, the period, comma, apostrophe, question mark, and exclamation point are part of the standard layout.
Hiding the keyboard (bottom-left) provides access to several options to distribute your message, note, question, etc. Tap on the Share button to paste the text into an email, a new tweet, or a new Facebook wall post. Tap on Send as SMS to create a new text message. When you're finished, tap Delete All to clear the scree for a new entry.
Sending the text to a different app takes only a few taps. Tap and hold on the text area while in Easy Typing, choose Select All, then tap Copy. Now, switch to the app -- Twitter client, web site, etc -- that you want to move your text to. Tap in the text entry box to bring up the standard iOS keyboard, then tap in the entry box again to show the Paste option.
