Flipboard App Now Includes News From The Guardian

Flipboard announced the UK’s The Guardian is the latest media organization to join its expanding news app, according to a Twitter announcement. This news comes just days after Oprah Winfrey also began offering content to the iPad app. The Guardian is known for its investigative journalism. Flipboard users now have quick assess to the publication’s breaking news and live blog features. In addition, articles focused on sport, business, and reviews are also available. The publication's latest series of reports is on Guantánamo and the prisoners it contains. Through agreements with The Guardian, Oprah Winfrey, and the like, Flipboard hopes to remain fresh as it faces a barrage of new apps looking for attention. These include The Daily, Zite, and the newest, News.me. Flipboard is free and available in the App Store.
