iZettle: A Card Reader To Compete With Square - Supports Smart Cards, Too

iZettle is planning on releasing its own credit card reader in Sweden this June, which will provide Europeans with a reader that supports "smart cards" - anti-fraud chip enabled credit cards.
Much like Square's iPhone credit card reader - which Apple recently started selling - iZettle's accessory plugs right into the iPhone, and allows users to receive payments via credit cards. However, that's not all: Customers can also have a digital receipt emailed to them, which can then be shared to Facebook.
Importantly, the device supports smart cards. These credit and debit cards (which are used here in the UK, too) feature an anti-fraud chip built into the card itself, which is read by card payment devices.
iZettle will launch this June in Sweden. If you want to stay up to date with the accessory, head over to http://izettle.com/ and enter your email address. We've also embedded an ad below for you to check out.
