As rumored yesterday, the iPhone Dev-Team has just released an updated version of redsn0w and Pwnagetool. The new version of the software can provide an untethered jailbreak solution for iDevices running iOS 4.3.1; Apple's latest version of the iOS.
Unfortunately, the updated version of redsn0w does not work with the iPad 2 and the Verizon iPhone. Yet, it's still a great release as stated by the Dev-Team, the iOS 4.3.1 untether is compatible with most other iDevices:
The updated version of redsn0w is available to download for both Windows (link) and Mac (link). And, for those who want to preserve their baseband, the Dev-Team also has a new version of Pwnagetool, which you can find on their site. Note, however, that the unlocking tool Ultrasn0w has not yet been updated for this version, so if you rely on it, don't update quite yet. Check them out, and let us know how they work for you in the comments. And, as always, jailbreak at your own risk!
