Smappsoft's Look Again Goes Universal, Plus A Handful Of Added Features
April 11, 2011
Smappsoft's recent puzzle game has gone iPad native, plus gained a handful of features to make the experience a little more pleasurable. This first update to the title doesn't add any more content -- not like it needs it yet -- but does add a few options to further tailor the action to a player's liking.
• Can now pause or quit a game in progress.
• Can now disable sound effects as well as music and vibrations.
• Can now turn off the timer counting down (there is no scoring when the timer is off).
• Clarified that new starting levels are unlocked after completing every five levels.
Look Again is a game for fans of matching and photo hunt titles, where you need to identify shapes in tricky combinations. The game includes over 250 randomly generated levels that consist of a total of 300 different shapes. Game Center support provides that competitive edge of working your way up leaderboards and earning all 30 achievements worth 660 points.
The controls are simple but the gameplay is challenging; you’ll have a very short period of time to complete a few puzzles before the level is considered successfully completed. Once started, look closely at the center image, then at the surrounding ones. Tap on the two shapes that you think compose the center image, and then tap on the center image to submit your guess. If you’re correct, you’ll move onto the next puzzle.
Look Again! is a universal app compatible with iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch running iOS 3.1 or later, and available in the App Store for $1.99.
