TED, the free iPad application that allows users to watch "talks from some of the world's most fascinating people," has just been updated. Now, users of the latest version (1.3) can stream videos played in the app to an AirPlay compatible device (such as an Apple TV).
The application gives users access to the entire TEDTalks library, which currently boasts around 700 videos. You can view videos by release date or popularity, you can also search by tags, themes, or related talks.
Now, if you have an Apple TV (or another AirPlay compatible device), you can stream videos from TED to that device. It's a handy feature, and one AirPlay users will definitely appreciate.
The latest version of TED is currently available to download in the App Store for free. Check it out, and let us know your thoughts in the comments.
