If you're a user of the free, universal XFINITY TV app, you'll be pleased to know that the service has increased its streaming catalog. Now, users of the app can enjoy double the amount of content, an additional 1,500 hours of video content to stream to iOS devices.
Exciting additions include Seinfeld, The Sopranos, Six Feet Under, and - my personal favorite - True Blood, all of which can now be viewed "on demand" on your iOS device (provided you've got a supported Comcast box, and are connected to a Wi-Fi network).
Furthermore, Comcast Interactive Media recently updated the XFINITY TV app. As outlined in the application's release notes, changes include:
If you have a supported Comcast set top box, check out the free XFINITY TV application in the App Store now, and let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
- Channel Keypad - quickly find, tune, or jump to a channel in the TV Listings grid.
- Favorite Channels – create or edit a list of the channels you like most and use them to customize your view of TV Listings. Use the Favorites filter to only show the channels you’ve selected!
- Date & Time Picker – easily skip to a date and time without scrolling to find out what’s on in TV Listings.
- Expanded Play Now library – we’ve added more networks, so you now have more shows or movies to watch!
