Those enjoying the iOS remake of the intense '80s arcade game, Tapper World Tour, will soon find themselves serving up the brews to the French, German, and other European folk as the next stop on the world tour is across the pond.
The Europe leg of the tour is composed of stops in Paris, Dublin, Munich and Corsica. These four new stops consist of 40 total levels, 20 new patrons, 12 new drinks, four new entertainment gigs, and a bartender with a headache. A new stop couldn't be without a new power-up, and that power-up is Lane Freeze. For those who have gotten past South America, the Europe portion is claimed to be a whopping 40% of additional content.
Developed by Square One Games and published by Warner Brothers, Tapper World Tour is the iOS remake of the 1983 arcade game Tapper by Bally Midway. The object of the game is to be a virtual bartender, slinging specific drinks to customers, collecting empty glasses, and picking up tips without stumbling.
Gameplay gets progressively more difficult through the entire game and as you progress in each stop. There are several bar counters lined up to entrances, where you'll need to spread your time amongst all of them. Tap on the kegs to pour a drink, and tap near an entrance to run down the length of that counter to collect tips and empty glasses. Empty glasses will eventually make their way to the keg end, but more difficult levels will require aggressive action.
Collecting tips earns lives, which are taken away if you displease a customer or allow an empty glass to shatter. Power-ups are earned by building up your score multiplier, and include things like tip guaranteeing Happy drinks, no drink preference, and so on. Another way to give yourself a breather is to activate the live entertainment by tapping on the Play button when it appears. This will have most customers stop temporarily as their concentration is diverted.
