Cydia Search: New Online Service Lets You Search For Jailbreak Packages In A Desktop Browser

May 6, 2011
Cydia Search is a new service brought to jailbreak fans by Planet-iPhones, which allows users to search for jailbreak packages via a desktop browser. Undoubtedly, this is something jailbreak fans will appreciate. Not only does the service display important information on packages (such as the price, repository and reviews) alongside a descriptive paragraph, but users of the service can also check out a preview of the package in Cydia (which is displayed in a virtual iPhone handset, as you can see in the above screenshot). Additionally, Cydia Search also lets users know if particular repositories are "trusted" or not, which is a great feature. You can check out the service yourself by heading over to http://planet-iphones.com/cydia on a desktop Web browser (like Safari or Google Chrome). And if you do, let us know your thoughts on Cydia Search in the comments.
